Better to have loved and lost
I gave myself to you mind body and soul
Now I’ve paid the ultimate cost
Because without you I’ll never be whole
I was so naive to think you could really love me
I make it a tough thing for anyone to do
But you said together we would always be
So for some reason I just believed you
And now it’s too late to eliminate how I feel
When you say you don’t love me anymore
You say it could happen one day for real
But how do you love again the one you now ignore
So was it better to have loved but have to let it go
Are you crazy? Hell Fucking NO!
