sing to me a sweet song
on mornings when the moon yet shines
under its watchful eye we shall converse
leaving all of our worries behind
for it is not too early to see rainbows hidden
underneath your welcoming smiles
lost in friendship becoming divine
watching the clouds drift in our sky
on their sea of blue we gaze at them
moving in patterns which spell out truth
and even more meaning than can be known
not that we have need to understand
In a list
Please tell me what you think

Excellent Piece
This is another very clever acrostic from you my dear Mark. Well done. I am sure Soulful Woman loved this.
Keep writing and I will keep reading.

Oh splendid, thanks for educating me on the finer qualities of an acrostic, and am sure Nor is touched and awed by this as am I..."Lost in friendship becoming divine...".

This is beautiful. I love your style of creating a whole being with only being aware of small parts, if that makes sense? Like a picture and you create a beautiful life, not just this poem. But I love the way you do it, and I have found you do it the best so far.
