Order In the Courtroom, Please

Never remembering,
the Earth's subtle tears,
that fell from the skies,
after all these lonely years.

They refilled our ocean,
depth's bottom to top.
They kindled our flames,
heating hearts 'till they stopped.

Waves crashed so brutally,
considering the jury--
when they didn't bear in mind,
all the world's great fury.

Whenever will,
this lonely coffin close,
buried under ocean's deep,
just to confine the ghost.

The jury is at trial,
for mistakes that they had made,
and for innocent lives,
that they had all betrayed.

Since the coffin,
is sinking ever faster,
now the courtroom burns,
in bitter sweet disaster.

Author notes

When a trial goes wrong, and the careless, shallow-minded jury gives no "fair" chance, the defendant's family will surely be inraged... So inraged that they just might catch the courtroom on fire. ^__^
