The scars have faded
to nothing more than a dull memory
the blades long rusted
the needles have all been lost
the smile on his face
has long out-lived its time
hes running in (((circles)))
...the story of his life,
as he slowly takes the jewelry
off in front of the mirror
his permanent necklace; a constant reminder;
...[have.the.courage.to.push.down.next.time]...
--------------
Locked in her room,
fingertips pressed [tight] to photographed lips
tears in her eyes,
shes lost all that she ever was,
in a matter of seconds,
life lost its purpose,
as she took down the message...
a (funeral) date
*he promised he was alright
as she stands in front of the ]open[ casket
&& stares -directly- into what used to be her life,
her best friend, her buddy, her pal
.............."you promised you'd never leave my side".....

Wow..
This is amazing.
I love it.
I like the way it tells the story of both people. It makes it more interesting and shows alot more emotion. Aww.. the end line made a tear come to my eye. It's so sad =[
Well done!! I love this poem ^.^
