Hypocritical Conceptions

mixing twirling, spinning twisting—
or is it motionless?
an ebon light
and patterned void
with some irrevocably
                irrelevant
                irrationality.

genius aspirations
of a poet's own approval:
deep, too deep
and dug so deeply—
                it's shallow (yet again),
and beyond
appreciation.

Author notes

"Just because people don't understand your poetry doesn't mean you're too 'deep' for them."

I could not agree more. I absolutely hate it when someone tells me on my poem that the poem is-
    "confusing"
    "jibberish"
    "uncomprehensive"
    or just plain
    "tooo deep"
bugs me. If it is deep- the all more better, it means you spent much time on it.

On the poem itself- good topic and well thought out voice behind it. The words slur together.
    Grand job and good work!
    Thanks for entering!
