In Class

I'm sitting here in Pre-Calc
Looking at the book.
The section we're 'bout to do,
Looks better than the last.

My teacher is quite nuts,
Talks of the strangest things.
He says these phrases
That make you sometimes wonder,
Is he really right up there?
He moves about,
I think to make us laugh,
Now one more year with him in front,
And then I'm outta here.

Author notes

I really did write this in Pre-Calc class today. I probably should have been paying attention, but I let my mind wonder. And just so you know, my teacher really is a good teacher, but he can be a little weird at times.

Please tell me what you think

Rocker, I think we have all had teachers like that in life and I thoroughly enjoyed your calculating thoughts you shared with us for today's class. Good thing he didn't catch you doing the poem or you would have been Cleaning blackboards and erasers for a week. Wait, do they still use them or is my age showing. LOL . This was really excellent and you made my day. I love the green background here. Stay cool and keep it flowing. Love and God bless, Joyce

Actually this is a very good poem about just your thoughts. I think every once and awhlile we need to just jot our thoughts down. I think you have a typo in the last line.

    And them I'm outta here.

    Should it be?

    And then I'm outta here.
