Snow's Magic

Like crystal droplets
Dancing gracefully through the air
Gliding down to touch my cheek
Like a fairy's wingtip
Brushing agianst my skin.
I feel its chilly comfort
As it muffles my soft steps
Padding quietly through
This winter wonderland.

I love the description, it gives the perfect image of a soft winter storm, where the snow just glides down in large fluffy flakes, rather than a blizzard. Beautiful imagery and wording, this is wonderful! (once again)

I saw snow about 17 years ago. I didn't really believe it existed until then. I'm still not sure whether it really does now.

I'm going to give you three applaud thingys because I've got plenty to spare. Not saying that this poem doesn't deserve it. It does, and I like the way you used the word 'muffle' - it's a really fun word to say. muffle

This is very beautiful. I love the imagery and the feelings in this, especially the lines "Gliding down to touch my cheek, Like a fairy's wingtip" they are very beautiful and capture the ethereal qualities of snow. Thank you, little squirrel, for inspiring me!
