On my peaceful cloud to the heavens I gaze
In search of a star, the eyes to my breath
My endless search for love, till the end of days
for the pains on the way are a minimal threat
I search for a guide to open the gate
The passage to eternal rest and slumber
Away from fire, the heat and the hate
So I can lay with the rain, lightning and thunder
I will search for the light through the shadows of shame
A reassuring glimpse of the future ahead
that you will be there to dampen the pain
and make safe the road that I dread
You are my drive that'll push me far
My light, my guide, my morphine star
