One of the obsolete,
seems forever roaming,
boasting knowledge
gathered on life's journey's.
Many knots and forks
on journey's encounters,
exploration of learning,
triumphant in judgement.
Twists and turns
like ancient gnarled tree,
listening in pruedence,
bragging enlightenment.
That which is gained,
accumulates wisdom,
thankful for hearing
the earth communing with me.
Discarded as worthless,
discerned as knowing by some,
home all around,
new directions to follow;
abode far and wide,
wisdom the path to heart's dwelling.
