In Memory of Margaret McQuaig

through childhood she was always fervent
as through my life I speed
always God’s humble servant
she would take the Father’s lead

she was a loving child of God
loving the life God gave her
never showing any façade
showing God was always near

the joy of silks she showed me
and pleasure of God’s word
taught me what it meant to be free
anything other than love was absurd

now through this world I walk alone
for she now walks the halls of heaven
she sits at His feet by the throne
she served as God’s own leaven

Author notes

This is a Monoday

She was a minister's wife. My Uncle was called to minister when He was 14 years old and did so for the rest of his life (Hd died at 77 if i'm not mistaken ) and She carried on till her death. I miss her an awful lot. She will always Be special.
