Butterflies fluttering by
Clumsily but beautifully
Till I find my eyes squinting
For my smile cant find anymore room upon this face
The only touch I feel is a nature's love
Vines intwined with mine
And roots dug beneath in line
And the leaves, so modest,
They give me the breath of life
The soles of my feet feels the Earth,
And I feel it beating to my heart
And breathing with my lungs
All these things I feel
So much love
So much beauty
Yet why do I look yonder?
Upon the moon that dims my night
And the mist that blurs this vision
Through this window this distracts me
And I become attached to a beauty of darkness
Dark
And yet beautiful
And yet I still feel nature's breath upon my cheeks
And She whispers that I am loved
She whispers I need not to look yonder
That this is the best given to me
Yet why do I look yonder?
Is it the coolness of the dark night
That pulls me from warmth?
Is it the blurred vision
That corrupts my curiosity?
None of the flutterbys
And none of nature's children
Can see my attraction
Not even I
And yet I still look yonder
Please tell me what you think
