Crystal splits my light in rainbow,
like wand to wish
as Prism's angel,
that wind was blue devotion
in swirling love
to sing of yellow,
as dance of blush in orange melting
to brush my canvas
with another sunrise,
in Evening’s place
of feather on fire,
as red enhancing sky in Comet’s tail,
of stardust spilling purple billows
beckoning green to rest in sound
of Evening's ease,
with crescent slivers,
of moonlit lips,
where promises of white
on black sequined gown
are shimmered ceiling
to fall in arms of hope so healing,
as laughter
living in your well
of deeper wound.
I see in wings
my Spring's fresh stroking
returning song to Winter's shadow
to slow the world
in night of Vincent,
when you and I
might have a chance
to shed these chains of soul in bondage,
to splash as miracle in fields of impressionism,
and take this flower
of Daisy’s dream to drift
as innocent petal
inside that restful rhyme
where I once sang to you
as child believing,
when you were smiling with the sun,
as hopeful breeze
in insane craves
to blow my ear,
to taste of scent
in hue with reason,
as gift from he
who saw us crying,
and brought in weather,
a change of forecast,
as wash to rush
in Thunder's mercy
Passion's time, as something sacred,
where we are artists
in tune with Nature’s
swirling canvas to printed emotion,
for verse is parchment as Season's quest
in subtle kiss,
expressing what it is to love you.

"perhaps they'll listen now...."
One of my favorite songs of all time...
and this...this is the poem I shall think of when I play it...
You are just an awesome writer..and I am humbled to ever place before you... I have said before, your writing speaks so very much to me...and seems to come from a common thread in the ether.

makes her sing, makes me cry, jeez i'm a mess...
i cry for the beauty...
of soul to sing
a brighter morning
on wishing stars
and chance to dance
beneath the light of brighter moons

-
just makes me sing..I could have told you Vincent, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you...*sigh just gorgeous this piece.
Love, C

so beautiful!
Rich,
You have taken the theme and given colors life....
You have sent your poetic heart to join hands with the spirit of love and passion just as you always do in your wonderful poems....Wow, this is going to be a tough competition...I have been crying on these poems tonight, and yours is no exception...
Brilliant!
Lynda
