Evolution, as it would seem, can happen faster than one may expect, on certain levels.
In the 6 months or so since my last post, many things have happened.
Jobs have come and gone, and friends just the same.
I haven't seen Darryl (the inspiration for my love of the sweet sounds of our homeland and the writings I came to post in those last months of my life in Christchurch) since that time.
I'm now back In Timaru (as the last post showed) but things have greatly changed even since then.
I won't bother to fill in the gaps, but now, it's 8:30 in the morning, and at 10am I must attend work.
It is however, once again my birthday, and to tell you the truth, the thing I want the most today (though extremely unlikely) is for my good friend Darryl to come knockin on my door.
I miss that guy a lot and I wish I knew what was going on with him.
Therefore, Darryl, if you ever read this, I don't care in the slightest what state you're in, or what's going on, track me down, coz I can't find you you elusive bastard. At the very least, I hope I see you at J Day man.
And now...
It's 9am and my beautiful girlfriend has just given me all sorts of goodies and treats.
In 2 months time we shall have a screaming child in our midst.
Things will surely be interesting then...
As for the meantime...
A month ago I started work at Burger King (Hurrah!) and after a week and a half, I was called into the managers office and asked to join their ranks. Which after a few days of consideration, I decided to do.
So I am now officially a manager in training at Burger King.
And I must say, for all the shit fast food workers get, it seems to be the best job I've ever had.
Good work and good people. Good times.
Not to mention Managers payrates...

Picking up a massive stereo system tomorrow also

Wish I had time to update more and check out all your poetry you marvellous people. There will be time, I promise.
But I will leave you with this...
