I was mouthing the words to my conscience
Feeling more like a bird of prey
I'll take no prisoners here
At least may be not today
Caught a glimpse of junkies singing praises
To the life they so worship and adore
Amongst the scattered needles and spoons
Ain't it all what we all live for?
[CHORUS]
So scream out those hallelujah's
And hang your soul out to dry
Who said love was worth a nickel
No more than broken promises could buy
I'll take apart any moment
For tonight you have to choose
And I'll sing to save us all
By shooting down those junk bond blues
You don't have to stop revolving
This life is a key to pastures new
Where hope and dreams are wrapped in nickel bags
With pills to pop and chew
Don't make too much of my reasons
They only confuse the issues here
For tomorrow we can wait 'til then
And watch it all just disappear
[CHORUS]
So scream out those hallelujah's
And hang your soul out to dry
Who said love was worth a nickel
No more than broken promises could buy
I'll take apart any moment
For tonight you have to choose
And I'll sing to save us all
By shooting down those junk bond blues...
(Repeat ad-lib to fade)

Sad indeed
If they were sane long enough to see how sick they are I wonder if it would turn them around . Some people has given up on life they say yet always has the energy and time to find the fix for the day . Its not a singing matter when you see them turned wrong side out for a dime bag no one heard you shout

I love this much babyface
My favorite lines were
"So scream out those hallelujah's
And hang your soul out to dry
Who said love was worth a nickel
No more than broken promises could buy"
They really brought it to life
Good luck in contest -

This is awesome! I assume it's a song...it's great! Thanks for following the rules too. I really enjoyed the stanza/verse
