My essence is the place you think you know.

My essence is the place you think you know.
A seastar lying lonely in the sand.
Marvel at me and watch the roses grow.

I am a fright'ning blemish in the snow.
The longing for the passion you withstand.
My essence is the place you think you know.

I am the sea that Moses ceased to flow.
A T-Shirt which across a rope is spanned.
Marvel at me and watch the roses grow.

I am a robin sitting on a hoe.
The Templar shields which by brave knights were manned.
My essence is the place you think you know.

I am the antique hot-rod brought to show.
A voice from an exotic far-off land.
Marvel at me and watch the roses grow.

I am a bull who's rider he must throw.
The broken heart you hold within your hand.
My essence is the place you think you know.
Marvel at me and watch the roses grow.

This is a great piece! I like how you've painted the red in this piece in a very sublime and intrinsic manner.

    My favorite lines:

I am a fright'ning blemish in the snow.
The longing for the passion you withstand.
My essence is the place you think you know.

This is as good as how you have started the poem. Though, with this stanza you have given wonderful figurative language.

Thanks for sharing and see you around.
