Fondling lemons in the moonlight,
I find some splunge,
And rub it on my oo-hmm.
Oh yes...it is ALL up ins.
Whenever my jowels are in a coconut,
I go frolicking on Jupiter
With the sparkly eyed possums,
The ones who covet the magic letter 'twelve'.
Yes, that is what my mind was like
The first time I tried LSD.
My rampage on reality
Seemed to last forever
And I could not even believe it
When my alarm clock blarred its sound
And told me I had missed an entire school day.
Under the influence again that night
And the toads of envy and I
Attend a rally for the rights of pliers
Where we were promtly arrested for
Not buying a tacky t-shirt
From the gift shop.
In the real world,
I had been thrown in jail
For driving while using narcotics.
My body sat for hours in that cell,
While my mind ran on the long red road
That strechted over Richard Gere's head.
All of the sudden,
It speaks to me:
"You've made bail, you're free to go."
"Ah-ha! I'm free!" I said
To the clan of flamingos
That were following me.
And I was free,
In the litteral sense
But I was still captive
In the land of Mirage
I was a slave to the new found drug.

OMG!!!!!!!! I remember that poem. I remember when we wrote it, late at night at your house. I don't know what was going through our heads when we wrote that...I'm sorry, WE did not write it, you did...I just came up with some snappy ideas.

haha amazing. I love it dear. I loved all of it really, but:
go frolicking on Jupiter
With the sparkly eyed possums,
The ones who covet the magic letter 'twelve'.
Yes, that is what my mind was like
The first time I tried LSD.
THAT was just perfect. I loved the line about not buying shirts either. This was fantastic. ^.^
Thanks for entering!
