Sigh indeed
This was heartbreaking. You did an amazing job of painting such a vivid image with so little words. This is why I love short writes; the words mean so much more when there is a powerful meaning but little space to express them.

Says it all really doesn't it. I think the world gave a collective sigh because we just didn't know what else to do. Sad, concise and beautiful all at the same time. Well done.
