and traitors will always die
the same death
you're on the floor
singing everything
thinking
this is fine
this is fine
two months ago you sat down shaky
injected yourself with the feeling of
yellow and reds swimming through your eyes
and you knew
i was laying in my bed with a fever ratteling through my veins
and you knew
he was there with you exploring exploding valves
racing about his head smiling happy happy happy
while i
cradled my broken head and slept not at all
judas took jesus aside
and leaned down
whispered a final kiss
you're screaming hoarse
it's not attractive
to find you stinking up my room
with these half rotten lies you keep vomitting up
two months ago i called you
holding close the static and the cord
trying to wonder
why my heart wouldn't plug into his anymore
and you started and halted
unsure
and you knew
his eyes were glazed over when he slipped an arm over me
and you knew
he closed his eyes his throat to me
instead ripping open his nasal passage
for your heroin
while i polite whimpered like a thrown out dog
why why why
and traitors die the same death
swinging from the tree
everything on the ground
where the dogs bite and snarl
over who gets to rip to pieces
that black black heart
judas leaned down
and slipped his head into the noose
politely crucifying
his only friend
and traitors
my long exhausted friend
and traitors
shove it up your nose
and traitors
you there shivering
always die
the same death
Author notes
don't call me
don't whimper i'm sorry
when you knew
you knew
you knew
you knew
i'm never going to forgive you
go climb to judas
whisper all the wrongs
and see
just see
what he has to tell you

Really interesting poem and definitly strong emotions from betrayal. It was really creative and something different from a lot of the stuff I've read. It has it's own style, and I like that. Thanks for entering.
