i have a place
i like to go,
where no one sees me,
no one knows..
i pull back skin
and wipe my tears,
fix my wires,
oil my gears..
in this place,
i do not rust..
it's hard to find
this complete trust..
i watch the rain
with my red eyes..
wishing i did not
have to lie..
sometimes i wish
people could see
what lies so deep
inside of me..
that i am not
a normal girl..
i can't keep going
for the whole world..
but in your arms,
and in this place,
you put a smile
on my face..
i feel like i
have bones again
and oil doesn't
run through my veins..
computers don't
control my thoughts..
in my small place,
i can't be lost..
i tire of wires
born in skin..
metallic features
lie within..
keep me running,
all the time..
nine to five..
five to nine..
never resting;
only here..
where i can hide
my rusting tears..
i love this place
i tend to go,
where you just see me..
no one else knows..

Hmm, I like the way you integrated the mechanical aspect into a sensitive being. It's not just a discription, but a whole story. Very original.
