What love is truly love,
that can compare itself to our's?
We fought, and bit, and clawed, and cried
just so our love could come this far.
I die each day that we are apart,
love our days together,
A moment lost is a moment apart
and thus causes me great sorrow.
The light of the sun, the stars of the night;
Neither's beauty matches that of your eyes.
Together we can take on the darkness in the world;
Together we can survive.

the whole thing was beautiful, but i just love the last line. very powerful. the last line of the second stanza feels a bit awkward, but you forget that as you read the rest. great job with this.

i love how you ask the questions, love and life is
full of questions and we waste time on them also, we
really know in heart what it is...that nice feeling of contentment when the other is around.

I really loved reading this because i could feel, and have felt some of it before.
I think it has great meaning and power, and you should definitely keep writing -
I love the meaning and the feelings expressed, however, it seems the rhyme scheme was a little off and at times seemed a bit forced. However, the last two lines were beautiful and powerful. Keep writing!!
