Home sick

"Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in"-Robert Frost

Never was such fashionable as the neighbors.
No flowers,no colors, nothing but some familiar shadows.
hand in hand we used to share, used to care.
Still feeling the cheer of delight.
still feeling the joy.
For I have lost my way in this material world.

My shadows are flown away, and my heart go faded.
I have seek my destiny in fake monarch.
Things I said I say them no more
Things I did I do them no more.
I found me again and again in such an eternity
I never longed.
Every night I cry for you my home.

I liked this nostalgic poem that seems to have both tragedy and triumph as its themes. I sense a longing for the simple, innocent charming aspects of life submerged in this "material world" of superficiality and fake glitter. Your poem echoes my own sentiments. camus
