Tears welling so suddenly
News shows the facts

Tomorrow maybe more-
With the blink of an eye
Anything can change
-Lives stop
Families morn-
Any shot of a bullet
Can stop a heart
But the soul continues
-To inspire to be strong
Showing true love-
Never did anyone part
Maybe with the senses
But not with the heart

I find reading all these to be comforting as I live in Virginia and have many friends who either are at tech or graduated from there. Yes a professor was killed. -

This poem's so spiritually strong! Gorgeous in structure, smooth in read and wonderful to soak in. The words flow as a mountain spring to quench a reader's need for sustenance. Thank you for your lyrics, sir.
