I watched my love walk woefully to shore
Tracing my name with fingers in the sand
She smiled upon the gesture just before
A gentle wave washed up across her hand
Her sweet devotion spoke of me no more
As water drawn to sea left smoothest land
Yet, I am never doubtful all the while
My name was plainly written in her smile
My love then turned and softly looked at me
The tide had come and gone, so now she knew
Environmental pressures cannot be
The means we use to prove our choices true
With happy tears her eyes could clearly see
The meaning found in everything we do
She then told me of my eternal place
She bore my name in lines across her face
Sea waves and windsongs like an angel’s choir
The elements and love caress her mind
My heart aflame my very soul on fire
Her gaze into my eyes frozen in time
Her soft manner a picture to inspire
I went to her and held her hand in mine
In contours of her face I realize
My name contained within her laughing eyes

My name contained within her laughing eyes

This is beautiful in every way. Really lovely and so
romantic.

I love form poetry, you know that and this Ottava Rima is lovely and well composed. The fact that a man would go out of his way to express his emotions in such a sensuous way is extremely attractive. You have once again touched my heart and I love you for it. I have found in you a tenderness that I never thought could exist in such a strong masculine frame.
Love,
Amera
