Chestnut eyes skimmed a crisp page
of the free travel newspaper.
As fingertips curled the page,
the bus hauled us over a speed bump.
Her startled brows raised
as a sigh urged the inked captions on.
Fingers folded the bottom corner
and nails scored, as she tore the page….
I caught a glimpse of her snippet
and my cynical mind breathed,
“who believes the horoscopes?”
Then, I saw her smile
as she folded the paper neatly.
“I wonder what mine says…”

great
I like it. Its just so simple and normal, something tat she would do everyday that no one would probably think much of...but you captured the moment and brought it to a whole new level. Its no longer a simple girl just reading the newspaper, its a simple moment caught in life and stilled. Much like a photograph. -
nice it was terrific you should keep up the good work it will pay off at the end i really like that poem it showed real meaning and emotion.

I really like the way this is written, I''m left kinda wanting more. I think the flow of this piece is wonderful and so is the imagery you employ throughout. Well done and keep up the great work. Bravo
