The duties of the endless war, I can’t bear.
For last three years I am a war leader,
And for last eleven years I am America’s protector.
I saved Uncle Sam from the Great Depression,
I am saving him from the Axis oppression.
My legs are taking rest for a long time,
And now my heart is crying; “now it is my time”.
Finally my body reached my home on the Hudson River,
But it did not have my soul either.

Rhyming 'time' with itself? Big no-no! This isn't paticularly sad either, just a list of thigs he did, no great betrayal, no real reason to give a damn about his feelings. Thank you for entering non-the-less.
