There’s a little emo hiding inside me.
I keep her hidden but sometimes she breaks free.
I try to hold her back but all she sees is the pain,
all the wrongs done to me.
There’s a little emo hiding inside me.
She shrinks away when everything’s good
But she comes out when I need her
When things aren’t always as they should
There’s a little emo hiding inside me.
I love her and I’m glad she’s there.
Although we may not always agree
I know she’s there because she really does care.
Author notes
I'm not emo - not all the time but i do think there is a little emo inside me and everyone. This can be a good thing but not everyone seems to think so. but to me its good to have an emo inside - but thats just me, im sure there are alot of emo haters out there would would disagree with me.

I really liked this poem alot and I agree with you whatever emp is and stands for we all must have it in us haha. any ways this is an awesome poem and I really love how this flows and goes. any ways congratulations on bronze as well I bet that taste like chocolate
