Their sheep
They do what is ''cool''
They aren’t real
They follow the crowd
Never doing something ''different''
I’m not like them
I never will be
Maybe that’s why I don’t fit
Into their puzzle of life
Pieces mixed and matched from my experiences
They would never get to know me
Because I follow a different road
I take the one less traveled
I do things they don’t consider ''fun''
I don’t need to drink every weekend or on days off
I don’t need to go to dances drunk
I don’t have to do drugs to fit in
I don’t have to pretend I like you
I'll tell you to your face
I don’t like who you pretend to be
So back the hell off and let me be
I don’t care about your stupid ideas
Fun times of nights they don’t remember
Real cool guys
Let’s drink the night away
Forties and shots all around
This is my teenage years
I barely remember what I did
That’s the kind of life I want
A life full of alcoholism and drug addiction
I guess I’m one of them
One of the cool kids
Yeah their my idols
Doing things I’ll never do
Not...

It's good that you feel this way.
Many people can not stand up for themselves like this, and so yeah.. They do follow the crowd because they're scared of what would happen if they didn't.
I love this piece, it's so honest and true. And gives a good image of what some teenagers do on weekends and such.
I love the lines :
