The Meeting

Alma held the rail and listened to the sounds of the ferry, the soft wind, like heavy breathing, the engine deep below like a man clearing his throat who does not want to be heard. She stares at the water. It is a beautiful partly cloudy day, but all Alma can see is the water. The beauty of the coastline is unmistakable, but she stares at the water as if there is something just below the surface that has hooked her gaze. The other passengers were invisible, but she was highly visible to them. Many could not take their eyes off her the entire trip, amazed by the glow radiating from her. Many wanted to speak to her, but there was an invisible cloak of mystery surrounding her, keeping all away.

There is always apprehension upon meeting someone for the first time. Going from the friendship and love of the cyber-world to the unprotected realm of the organic was full of emotion. Alma did not notice them. She was wrapped up in the water. She thought she could see a face and began to smile. Absent-mindedly, she put her hand on her breast and squeezed, as if the water lapping the side of the boat was licking her and she wanted to assist the experience.

Only after she saw the dock did she raise her face to take in her surroundings. A dark cloud crossed in front of the sun, and it took her eyes a moment to adjust. She tortured herself by looking around at the sights first, letting the anxiety build to overpowering proportions, and felt a hot breath from nowhere upon her neck. That was her queue. She turned her head and scanned the people waiting on shore.

As if some conscious force was controlling the scene, the sun emerged and the wind stopped as if the Earth itself was breathless as they locked gazes. There was no movement on her face or body, but the change in her was unmistakable to everyone. Not only did their eyes lock, but some force unseen was being exchanged. The engines let out a long, low moan as they came to a stop, followed by a loud hiss like a tortured prisoner's last sighing breath.

Alma slid her hand off of her breast and slowly walked to the exit ramp, never letting her gaze leave the gaze from the shore. She walked to the line of people waiting to get off and found them stepping aside for the girl with the glowing stare. The eyes beamed heat to and from her as she slowly marched down the ramp. The eyes on shore were walking towards her as well. When they were fifty feet apart a childish smile erupted from each face and they began to run, violently embracing and engaging in a passionate kiss, breast to breast, tummy to tummy, hands on ass in front of God and everybody, they greeted one another until their lips were sated. The boat's horn sounded a long low blast, and when it was done they broke the embrace and walked hand in hand to the awaiting jeep.

Lots of imagery in this piece and it's just beautiful; I loved how you just made it erotic without being so oblivious; it just captures all five of your senses and just picture the scene in your mind. Great Write and Thank you for entering.

Hot. Hot and steamy! You know that I'm not much into prose but I like this one. It's cram packed with imagery. The dock looks amazingly like a lighthouse.

    Love,
