Chez you fly your mind,
as Merlin's daughter,
much too young for words
I wish might follow
beyond the deeper dream
of Africa's water,
and much to old
for drop to echo, hollow.
You have gained so much
for what is given
in Circle's spin
of Heaven sending truth
when man is found in cloud,
as spirit risen,
ascending pain
to other forms of youth,
I know you held in heart,
as dying child,
when outside tent,
all nature cried, as night
in wilder shadowed creatures,
running free
toward the only source
of candled light.
And you have read my poems
with heart to peer,
as kindred soul
who found in silver spoon,
another way to live
inside this sphere,
where fear is demon howling at the moon.
So believe my wish
of ever happy birthday,
as I know you changed
in what word means
to see in song, a child in healthy play
not hungry,
or diseased,
and full of dreams.

What a beautiful birthday poem,
as I know you changed
in what word means
to see in song, a child in healthy play
not hungry,
or diseased,
and full of dreams.
So true of what she is doing, a wonderful poem!

-
And I adore it so much, thank you
