Temptation
W. Peter Sanci April 15 / 2007
Temptation is all around us in this bad old
world today.
It’s every where you look, and every where you
turn.
There’s evil everywhere you turn, trying to make
You go down the wrong way.
But you have in you’re possession my friend something to stop the enemy at bay.
It’s a mighty two edged sword that you have
always at the ready,
The name of this scabbard that you have is simply a little word called Faith.
Remember that little ol ant who thought he
Could move that rubber tree plant,
What was it that inspired him, it was his faith.
Remember that old adage, from long ago,
You’re faith can move mountains, if you just let
go and let God.
So my friends the next time you feel that Satan is leading you astray, just reach inside you’re heart and pull out you’re two edged sword of
Faith, and send old Beelzebub a running back
to Hell where he belongs.

Religion is a strong representation of good, despite the damages it has endured from man. Faith, when not a device of control, is one of the strongest motivators for the cause of good. I like the points you made here

Great Poem!!!
Well Peter , You have covered all the bases about temptation. We all fall prey in some way at some point in our lives. Everyone has sinned at some time. And old Beelzebub is busier then evey today. I keep my broom handy to swat him away from ,my door. But sometimes he sweeps me away.
. Great write Peter. Many Blessings for this great write. Very uplifting write. You take care, Sandy
