Can someone define a friend to me?
If you can should I agree?
Not all friends are there for you
Some are fake and others are true
But how many true friends can you find
When everyone is living a lie
It breaks your heart when friends aren't there
They disrespect you and they don't even care
When you invite them somewhere and they don't show up
They don't even call to tell you what's up
Only time will tell who your true friends are
I've leaned who's real and who's under the bar
I don't have many real friends as i look at it now
But soon i will find more if only i knew how
All most friends do is make up excuses
If you going to lie to me all you are is useless
A true friend tells the truth and they never back down
Are you a true friend? look at yourself now

Good friends make life worth the living, but only time will sort them from the other sort. That's life. I like your sentiments here, you will find friends among all the acquaintances you will have during your life. Well done.

This is an absolutely fabulous piece of writing, I can totally relate to your words. I had someone who I thought was a true friend for many years, but time lets you know the true and the false, I found out the hard way. Excellent poem and very well done.

im so sorry that i wasnt there i couldnt go we had a ton going on. i tryed to call then you wernt there and when you called baack i was in my room and the phone was on vibrate and i didnt notice that i rang. Im sorry. dont be mad at me! plus my mom couldnt take me aanyway cuz she had this family thing come up that we didnt know would happen. well i still love you as a friend!
