forever

 

would I give up all, you asked

to follow Jesus, walk with him?

not an easy question to answer

… or is it?

 

 

I honestly feel that I do walk with Him

without Him I could not stand

with Him I can walk forever

 

 

He guides me each and every day

in all that I endeavor

with Him I can go on forever

 

 

sometimes in those days of doubt

when naught seems to go my way

with Him I can survive forever

 

 

when all is good and the day is bright

and the sun shines warm upon me

with Him I can rejoice forever

 

 

as I grow older, my days near their end

when my life on this earth is done

with Him I’ll reside forever

so, yes, I feel that I must say to you, Lord

as I live on through each passing day

with You I would give up all, forever

    Yes I will walk with him too. I know God has been there for me so many times in my life even when I thought he was not. If we don't have faith and hope what do we have? Such a spiritual and uplifting write of our walk with Christ throughout life through the good times and the bad. We never need to give up on God because he never gives up on us

    though i have a few religious themed poems i am not a firm believer in jesus/god, but i can appreciate other people's beliefs, and as i always say to people who have faith, faith is a good thing for it brings hope to the heart a good poem
