And the red ribbon you tied in your hair.

Then, you hugged me hello.
I didn't want that moment to end.
It was the most wonderful hug
So full of emotion
happy
excited
calm
soothing
relaxing
Such a strong hug
Yet, so extremely tender.
It felt like you were holding me forever,
Even though it was less than a minute.

I was smiling to myself all night.
Then, I would look over
And see you standing there
Next to me.

I kept hoping that you would turn around
And take me in your arms
And hold me.
