IN A TORMENT OF TIME

In a torment of time
I feel pain as no others have
I have all the thoughts of a man
who does not deserve to live
I live on along with the one I long for
I have always seen you
But never paid any attention to you
I have asked for you
But never truly meant it
Until now when I have finally realized I love you
But I hurt you and ran from you
I hope you can forgive me
If I can forgive myself
I long for a friend that can be more
A friend that I can love
with all the peaces of my broken heart

This was a great poem, full of emotion, and that is what counts in poetry (at least in my eyes). The only thing is there were some typos. All in all a great poem.
