As soon as you hit the first line of the second verse my eyes widened and I held my breath. HELLO relation.
I was with a guy for over a year, when I found out I was pregnant, I was already 2 months along. First he got angered, then he said he loved me and asked me to marry him. I was in schooling at that time and he said that we'd have the baby then move so I could start fresh and he'd take care of our child. I can definetly relate to the lies, and I hate myself for letting it get like that.
I haven't been able to say "fuck you" to him, so I admire that strength in you. This is a brilliantly powerful poem, I loved it.

Im sorry for the position he has put you in. But even though things can get bad, you must always remember, without feeling unhappy at times, we would never know what happy feels like.
