Sitting underneath a cherry tree,
A petal from a flower lands on my knee.
I look up to the birds, who seem so free,
As I sit beneath a cherry tree and drink my crystal tea.
I count the clouds floating in the sky,
They are staying in the air, willing to fly,
And the forget-me-not blue sky does not lie.
The beautiful flowers swaying in the breeze,
And the gentle animals doing as they please,
Sitting underneath a cherry tree by the seas.
The next hour will come, come as it may,
As the little rabbits, on they will play,
The seeds of a dandelion, they break away,
All I can say is today is a sunny day...

Like the end rhyme you have in each verse - works well this monorhyme. Today is a sunny day here too. LOL Easy to read and understand the sentiments you have expressed in these lines.
