Rudy Speaks
Vladivostok nights
harbor lights
brighten
Summer sights
to Autumn rays
through Moscow days
Winter’s frigid ways
From Ural peaks
high and cold
to Volga River
flowing bold
a Russian speaks:
Дождь в Испании падает главным образом в равнину
“What?”
“The rain in Spain
falls mainly
to plain.”
“Who said that?”
“Rudy.”
“Why?”
“He is cognizant of meteorological phenomena
referencing processes of aqueous flows of fluid
through elevated temperature acquisition,
evaporation by process of distillation, condensation,
and precipitation.”
“Hunh?”
“Rudolf, the Red, knows rain, dear!”

hey
Sorry I judged this contest so late. I had a million and one things to do.
It certainly is one of the more original poems, too bad I don’t really see how it fits in my contest, though I appreciate you letting me read this.
Love & peace
