There is this special bond,
That binds your heart to mine!
It is steadfast in strength and glory,
It has a jewel-like shine!

LIke a garnet it glows faithfully,
This has its inner fire,
This bond has fueled our passion,
Our love, our wants, our desire!

It has transcended distances and time,
It has held through lovers and trysts,
For those matter not to us,
For this is constant, and truly exists!

We are both neither exactly positive,
Neither of us is exactly sure,
But we think this bond is Love,
In plain essence: simple, pure.
