I stood still in a whispering wind
desperately holding on to my stiffening grin
You say that daylight, and happiness
depresses you, that truth and harmony
was never meant to be
my eyes collapse and my smile looks fake
forever poisoned by my mistake
you bring me close
and laugh in my ear
I wondered if I should be filled with fear
goodbye love
he said and turned me around
whipped me too fast, that I lay on the ground
my hair flew back
as the wind roared
and you walked away
like a bird about to soar
you have confidence and
I have none
and that maybe
as you grew a personality
I lost one
desperately holding on to my stiffening grin
You say that daylight, and happiness
depresses you, that truth and harmony
was never meant to be
my eyes collapse and my smile looks fake
forever poisoned by my mistake
you bring me close
and laugh in my ear
I wondered if I should be filled with fear
goodbye love
he said and turned me around
whipped me too fast, that I lay on the ground
my hair flew back
as the wind roared
and you walked away
like a bird about to soar
you have confidence and
I have none
and that maybe
as you grew a personality
I lost one

As for the point of this poem...it is writen for this guy I know, that I kind of hurt in the past. I didn't mean to mind you, but things just kina worked out that way, and we haven't talked the same way since. It kind of sucks. not gonna lie.
