Hope In Time

Tears flowing like a river, unabated for now.
Lost is the hope seen in her eyes.
Is it really?
On each and every tomorrow, give thanks.
So precious was your time with her.
Forever in your heart as a reminder,
No matter how many years pass,
Tender thoughts of one hour with Libby Ann.
Now as she lay resting in God's arms,
Release her to be happy in Heaven.
As much as you wanted her,
She was needed in Heaven.
Maybe some day you will know why,
Until then, let not her memory die.
Nor you forget to live.
In living you honor her memory,
Teaching her siblings about her.
Rest now Oh Precious Mother and Father,
Your Angel abides in God's Grace.

Beautiful words. So many are afraid they will forget their loved one and visa versa. As you stated she's
"Your Angel abides in God's Grace."
We are not to know or question what He has in store for us or why He does the things He does. We are only to accept His love and trust completelt in Him, our Lord.
    Thanks for sharing.

This is a very sad poem, but it is also very touching. It screams to the pain that people go through when losing a child--something that parents should never have to endure. This is a very nice tribute. I think you did very well with it. I had to read it through a couple times because of the odd flow, but the second time I ejoyed it much better. You have a nice talent. Good job.

Ok, nice ideas represented here, but it ahs a lot of room for improvement, maybe reworking at it might help you and yep, the pentuation marks, they are used very oddly and is disturbing the flow...you need work here.

Best line in this piece (peace) is easily the last. It ties the prose together very well, and is true to the form of your message. Having lived through it, I can say there is little comfort to be had by those who have lost a child, or any loved one. Despite that, I applaud your effort here to bring solance to the ill-consoled.

Good luck in your future works.

    Very Touching

I read about the baby you wrote about and I felt really sad. Her parents are passing through a very difficult time and I think what you have done in your poem gives them the comfort and sympathy that they need most. Your words are so gentle and they touch the reader's heart and soul. Thanks for sharing and Good Luck in the contest. Would you mind reaing one of my poems "Life Imiates Art"?http://allpoetry.com/poem/2363531 I would appreciate your comments.
