Emotional Fatality

Sirens screaming through my head
An echo of my melancholy
A reminder of fear
That refuses to fade

A life left unlived
A solitary existance
Poisoned by lies
Shattered by broken dreams

And the will to fight devoured
By the blade of beloved tongues
As innocence becomes just a burden
To another imprisoned soul.
