Reading from a book
How this world took
The teacher is deceiving me
Now my mind is mangled into a twisted knot
From all the lies I have been taught
The truth about creation is in a grave
Every where I look
This path the world has took
The governments deceiving me
Removing God from our lives and from our hearts
Would give up love of Country
For In God We Trust
Recalling my child hood
Everything would
Revolve around Gods Love
Now the world has corrupted my heart
I have to take another look
At that Holy Book
Author notes
I am looking for a chorus for this piece any ideas would be useful
Please tell me what you think

nice
Very insightful and somewhat deep. Your rhyme scheme is a tad off, but I like the subject; this world seems to corrupt everything that's good and distort it until right and wrong seem to mesh together. Sorry, I'm not feeling creative enough to help you with a chorus though. But great write anyhow. =)

You're a theologian already because it's all about asking questions and not believing every word you're told because a preacher says it!
The two creation stories were just that, stories but I think there's a lot of genuine insight in them. We have to search for the pearls of wisdom in the Bible while remembering that men wrote it.
'Recalling my child hood
Everything would
Revolve around Gods Love'
There's no reason this shouldn't still be the case is there? God hasn't changed.
