Nightmare
I'd try to for get you,
but you wouldn't go away.
I'd try to for get the memories,
but they always seemed to stay.
I thought you were the one,
and I thought that you cared.
I thought that you loved me,
but you always seemed so scared.
I must not have been good enough,
if you did this to me.
I don't under stand,
how I wasn't that worthey.
I tryed to make you happy,
as happy as I could.
I even opened my arms,
but there you just stood.
A dream and a nightmare,
it all seemed the same.
There I would waite,
and yet you never came.

i love the way the poem ryhmes. Lots of anguish and sadness in this piece. Nightmares are dreams of fear, you can sense this here. nicely done.
