And what if God is just a child?
Playing with the world as a new toy,
That gave the child so much joy?
What if it’s the child that causes everything,
He moves our cars and hangs the stars,
What if it’s the child that sends our friends to war?
What if we’re just a toy to the hands of another,
Playing with us until he hears the calls of his mother,
When we’ll be laid aside and the world will end?
If all these feelings are synthesized by a child,
And if this life doesn’t matter,
And if no savior died for anyone’s sins,
What would happen to the decency of the world,
Would the earth become the prophesized hell?
Because if God really is just a child playing with a toy,
There would be no heaven in the sky,
And below no hell from which the treacherous cry.
There would be no reward for the virtuous,
And no punishment for the wicked.
There would be nothing after our consciousness will forever lack,
After the child puts his toy away,
Existence and eternity will fade to black.

I loved this!!! The progression seemed very natural and flowed easily. I love the concept, especially the lines:
"Because if God really is just a child playing with a toy,
There would be no heaven in the sky,
And below no hell from which the treacherous cry.
There would be no reward for the virtuous,
And no punishment for the wicked."
BRAVO!!!
