I am a country girl
From a small hick town
We love fishin and huntin
And family's all around
One of the big things
Besides holidays and such
Is our football
Whether tackle flag or touch
Friday night
Well that's football time
And though we never win
We like it just fine
Last in the league
Haven't won in years
But still a touchdown
Can bring us to tears
We love all our boys
And always push them on
Got the prettiest cheerleaders
From here to Hong Kong
So next time yer in Georgia
Stop by our town
I know you will love it
We're the nicest folks around

This is a little piece about the little town I grew up and still live in...

although i cant relate, this is a well written poem that holds a lot of pride and it put a smile on my face to finally read a "happy" poem.
