If trapped within a boring doom
Eat a tasty bluish shroom
A fairy with dilated eyes
Steers you on a drug filled ride
Walking like a half mad gimp
She giggles like a blood crazed imp
She flies around with a butcher knife
laughing at the loss of life
and as she kills she starts to sing
about various and random things
you just watch in a drug crazed trance
as the shrooms also sing and dance
and everything has large wide eyes
and they look at you and grin real wide
all you can do is grin right back
and everything sings on an off tune track
while flying pigs zoom overhead
and kittens raise up from the dead
and while utensils raise from the sink
a polka dotted unicorn comes to drink
you watch it urinate on your pants
but realize it’s you as you wake from the trance

This is gorgeous written, the flow is masterfully exicuted and the rhyme seems unforced, if not a little inappropriate at times.. lolthanksforsharing.

This reminds me of Alice in Wonderland lol. Man some of those mushrooms are potent i accidentally picked up a flyageric last summer luckily hubby said through it down just the touch can make u loopy Great write like the rhyme and flow.

i thought this poem was really good!you used losts of imagery also you have a good rhyming scheme here as well.i like the description of the fairies...gives me a wierd perspective of them tho....lol

Now this is pretty good. Lots of wild imagery. Try and not use contarctions in your work. last stanza: but realize it is you as you awake from the trance. (awake is stronger than wake) and find a good adj. to describe trance.
