My heart lays flippant
At the bottom of the bottle,
And even when I tip it,
Grab the neck and slowly throttle,
My eyes are blurry,
Losing focus of the meaning,
In the flurry,
All caught up in how it’s seeming,
Got me a liquor tongue
Laced with venom one on one
Mono e mono
Is the trip I’m tripping on
And that trip
Is me verses me,
So many of us in here,
But still I’m lonley,
A hand to hold,
A destiny to unfold,
Is all that I ask,
But it’s not what I’m told,
My face bleeds into
The unforgiveness of dirt,
But my broken body raises
From the beatings and hurt,
Cause even broken dreams
Got some kind of worth,
So I give it a kiss
As I raise from the earth,
And I lift on wings,
That vibrates to the sound,
Cause all that I know,
Is all that I’ve found,
Cause what goes around
Comes around,
So here it comes again
And I’m liquid bound.

I know the feeling. Luckily I've managed to reign in on the bottle recently. Good flow, matches the feel of the poem
