This makes me want to cry. I never got to have this with my mom. She died just before I turned sixteen and I really miss her sometimes. I'm glad you have this with your mom. Cherish it and remember that some of us are not so lucky.

    So Sweet

This is just beautiful. So close to your mother you are. Excellent for your first haiku. I don't even know how to do those poems. Truly a nice read. I wish I had this kind of relationship with me mom. So appropriate for Mothers Day coming up.
    Many Blessings

Wonderful to feel this way - sentiments well expressed in these three lines. Haiku have certain requirements other than the 17 syllables in the traditional ones, just thought I'd share them with you in this link,

Very nice poem. My adoptive mom and I were so close friends, too but she is now living in heaven. She is pain free from cancer.

    wow

short but full of the image of how perfect love is in today when families are apart for the wrong reasons some of us still see this love for their mom.
