My hero's

Teenage parents.
Struggling to survive.
Scared of what her parents think.
Afraid he cant cope.

Parents agreed to help.
He got a job.
She held on.
Graduation day.

She became a mom.
He became a sophmore with a kid.
Working to provide.
The baby slept with her grandma.

Born a month early.
Parents terrified she wouldn't survied.
Her father stayed strong.
The baby survived.

A blessing from above they say.
God saved the babies life,while the baby saved her fathers.
Growing up she's blossomed into a lovely young lady.
Hard to believe 13 years have past.

Healthier then ever.
Happy her father didnt desert her.
Proud of the mother that kept her.
Without them she'd be no where.

She try's everyday to show her gratitude.
Whishing at times she didnt just use that attitude.
Sometimes it's hard and she recalls wanting to say goodbye.
Her  mother had heard and began to cry.

The tears of her mother broke her heart,for she knew she cared.
Always searching for the love of them.
Wondering if she'll ever be good enough.
Then she hears I LOVE YOU! and knows she's fine.

Her parents stayed strong and for this so will she.
Temptaions of the world shake her.
Her father is there to warn her.
Her mother there to keep her bound.

People answer celebrity names
Or people of high stature,
But when she's asked she proudly proclaims
Her parents.

They are the real hero's in her world.
They stayed strong when others wouldn't.
They never left her.
Now she sits writing this to show
you never know how far a little love can go.
