In a world covered in shadows
There’s a town without a name
And everything there, dies
It really is a shame
No one tends to the gardens
Nobody bothers to lift a finger
The birds have long gone
Only the people care to linger
They claim to call that place home
But all they do is complain
About what they want and need
Its enough to drive you insane
In the town of empty souls
Who linger on forever
Time has come to a halt
There occurs not even a tremor
So they will never die
Nor move on in life
Just brood in their madness
And in their ravenous strife
Author notes
I wrote this during one of my weird moments... and I was bored...
